Whipple's disease
a rare disease of the INTESTINES , resulting in malabsorption of food(see MALABSORPTION SYNDROME ). Symptoms include ANAEMIA , weight loss, ARTHRITIS , skin pigmentation, chest pain and a nonproductive cough. It seems to be caused by microorganism in the MUCOSA . It responds to extensive ANTIBIOTIC treatment.
