Ringer's solution

a physiological solution containing sodium chloride (salt), potassium chloride and calcium chloride and some other minerals, in the same proportions as in blood SERUM . It is injected intravenously in people suffering from dehydration and is used to bathe maintain organs that have been removed for TRANSPLANTATION operations.
