pyloric stenosis
a narrowing of the PYLORUS , which limits the movement of food from the STOMACH to the DUODENUM , resulting in VOMITING . It may be accompanied by distension and PERISTALSIS of the stomach, visible through the abdominal wall. A continuation of the condition by an ULCER or CANCER near the pylorus, which requires surgery.
