pulmonary stenosis
a narrowing of the outlet from the HEART to the pulmonary ARTERY via the right VENTRICLE , which may be CONGENITAL or, more rarely, as a result RHEUMATIC FEVER . Severe cases can produce ANGINA , fainting and enlargement of the HEART with eventual heart failure. Surgery is necessary to clear the obstruction.
