pilocarpine

a PARASYMPATHOMIMETIC drug used to constrict the pupil of the eye (see MIOTIC ) and to reduce the pressure inside the eye in glaucoma. It is administered as eye drops and may cause digestive upsets and salivation if absorbed into the system.
