paraphimosis

constriction of the PENIS because of retraction of an abnormally tight FORESKIN , which contracts on the penis behind the GLANS and cannot be easily moved. Swelling and pain may be caused and usually CIRCUMCISION is necessary to prevent a recurrence. See also PHIMOSIS .
