nystatin
an antifungal drug used especially to treat yeast infections, such as candidosis. It is formulated, often in combination with other drugs, as a cream or ointment for skin infections, as tablets for oral and intestinal infections, as pessaries or suppositories for vaginal or anal infections, or as eye drops for eye infections. Side-effects include mild digestive upsets.
