myalgic encephalomyelitis

a disorder characterized by muscular pain, FATIGUE , general DEPRESSION and loss of memory and concentration. The cause is not understood but seems to follow on form viral infections such as INFLUENZA , hence its alternative name. Recovery may be prolonged and there is no specific treatment.
