a substance taken into the body by INHALATION . The substances can be in several forms: the steam of a hot solution; a pressurized AEROSOL of droplets of particles; or a powdered medication that is drawn into the body by breathing in deeply from a nonpressurized passive inhaler. Sufferers of ASTHMA use inhalers to deliver drugs to the BRONCHI ( BRONCHODILATOR drugs) for relief from attacks.
