Holmes-Adie syndrome

Holmes-Adie syndrome, also called Adie's syndrome, is a disorder of the AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM that affects nerve pathways controlling the PUPIL and reflexes. It is characterized by ADIE'S PUPIL, where one or both pupils react slowly to light, together with decreased or absent deep tendon REFLEXES. The condition is usually benign and is thought to result from damage to nerve cells in structures such as the CILIARY GANGLION.

Holmes-Adie syndrome is a condition where a person has a slow-reacting pupil along with reduced body reflexes.
