facial nerve

a CRANIAL NERVE that has a number of branches and supplies the muscles that control facial expression. It also has branches to the middle EAR , TASTE BUDS , SALIVARY GLANDS and lacrimal glands. Some branches are MOTOR and others SENSORY in function.
