an outbreak or RASH on the SKIN , usually in the form of a red and raised area, possibly with fluid-containing blisters or scales/crusts. It may be associated with a disease such as MEASLES or CHICKENPOX , a drug reaction or a physical or short-lived occurrence, e.g. nettle rash ( URTICARIA ).
