Artificial insemination by husband (AIH), also called partner insemination, is an assisted reproductive procedure where SPERM collected from the male partner is prepared and introduced into the female reproductive tract. It may be used when natural conception is difficult due to factors such as mild male infertility, problems with OVULATION, or unexplained infertility.
