n any of a group of drugs used to correct irregularities in the heartbeat ( see ARRHYTHMIA ). They include ADENOSINE , AMIODARONE , VERAPAMIL , QUINIDINE , DISOPYRAMIDE , FLECAINIDE , LIDOCAINE , MEXILETINE , and PROCAINAMIDE .
