air passages

all the openings and passages through which air enters and is taken into the LUNGS . These are the NOSE , PHARYNX (throat), LARYNX , TRACHEA (windpipe) and bronchial tubes ( BRONCHI and BRONCHIOLES ). Air entering via this route has dust particles removed, and is warmed and moistened before entering the lungs.
